1. Quantitative
Quantitatively affects the purchase price of the carton packaging base paper, the physical target, the calculation of the production cost of the carton, the edge pressure strength of the cardboard and the compressive capacity of the carton, which is an important inspection target for the base paper. If the surface paper has a low degree of gram, there will be the defect of corrugation on the surface of the cardboard, which will easily cause the problems of corrugation and blurring of pictures and texts. If the difference in the gram degree of the paper in the face paper is too large, it is easy to cause the cardboard to warp and so on. When the base paper is purchased, it is possible to check whether the paper weight is uniform by checking whether the wet water line of the paper is regular. If the wet water line is not regular, it means that the basis weight of the paper is relatively uniform; if the wet water line is severely uneven, it is introduced that the change of the basis weight of the paper may be larger; generally, the one-sided basis weight of the elongated wet water line is higher, and the basis weight of the shortened part of the wet water line is low. . For products with severe requirements, sampling and testing the quantitative size is a very direct and accurate method.
2. Moisture content
The different moisture content of the base paper will affect the production speed of the single-sided machine or the corrugated line, the consumption of electric energy and heat energy, as well as the flatness and size accuracy of the corrugated cardboard, and will cause the cardboard to show various degrees of warpage. , affect the corrugated stereotypes. In addition, the bonding effect of corrugated cardboard will also be affected, and excessive moisture will also cause the physical strength of corrugated cardboard and cartons to decrease. When the moisture content is too low, the inner paper is easily crushed when the crimping wheel presses the thread. Therefore, the moisture content of the base paper should be carefully inspected and strictly controlled.
If you do not pay attention to the environmental moisture problem when the base paper is stored, it will cause the phenomenon of tight edge of the lotus leaf and affect the use of the base paper. The ruffle refers to the loss of the original straightness at the edge of the paper, especially the longitudinal direction of the paper, which is caused by the difference in the absorption of moisture between the inside and outside of the paper stack.
Some problems can be found very easily by investigating the surface near the paper. When printing paper with ruffles, overprint prohibition and wrinkling will occur, affecting product quality.
3. Strength of base paper
Mainly include surface strength, ring compressive strength, tensile strength, burst resistance, flexural strength, etc. The surface strength is mainly checked in the printing process, the surface of the paper appears to be rough and the degree of powder drop. The ring crush strength of base paper is divided into longitudinal ring crush strength and transverse ring crush strength. It has a great influence on the edge compressive strength of corrugated cardboard and the compressive strength of corrugated boxes. Therefore, when producing corrugated cardboard with a single-sided machine or automatic line, it is necessary to check the transverse ring compressive strength of the base paper.
